VOLUNTEER

The Urban depends on the generosity of participating congregations and individuals for the support of
our operations and ministries.

The Urban also receives some funding from the Manitoba Northwestern Ontario Synod of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada.

 

The Urban is a charitable organization and income tax receipts will be issued for

all donations.  Ways to donate:
1) E-transfer to urbanboardtreasurer@gmail.com. (for donation tax receipt

purposes, please
provide an address with your donation)

 

2) Write a cheque payable to Lutheran Urban Ministry and mail it to:

3) CanadaHelps – Donate online. www.canadahelps.org. You can click

on the CanadaHelps iconthat is displayed to the right.

 

4) Donate in the plate – include an additional amount in your regular weekly offering

designated for the Urban…it will get to us.

 

5) United Way (Donor Directed Giving Service):

Those who work often are able to have payroll deductions for their charitable
contributions through the United Way Campaign.  United Way forms have a section at
the end which allows people to add charities that are not listed as regular recipients. 
Donors have the option to add the Lutheran Urban Ministry and they can specify how
much of their donation they want to come to us and how much to the United Way.
